Substack has made it easier than ever to publish content, allowing anyone with a Substack account to share posts directly from their profile on both the web and mobile app. This shift, announced by the company on Thursday, enhances the platform's social networking capabilities. Currently, mobile publishing is available via the Substack iOS app, with Android support on the way.

Users can now manage both paid and free subscribers and receive pledges directly from their Substack profile without needing to set up a separate publication. However, those who opt to create a publication can access more advanced features, such as a dedicated website, multiple admins, and the ability to manage sections. Substack also offers the option to import subscribers if a user decides to start a new publication.

While Substack profiles cannot be made private, users can link to a private publication if they wish to share content with a restricted audience.

In addition to these updates, Substack is working on enhancing its mobile experience. Last month, the platform enabled users to publish full posts via the mobile app. The company is also exploring new features, including live video and in-app payments, as it continues to evolve.

With these developments, Substack is steadily transforming into a more comprehensive social network, further solidifying its presence in the digital publishing space.
