Apple has introduced a web app for its Podcasts platform, now accessible through [podcasts.apple.com](https://podcasts.apple.com). This new feature is compatible with popular browsers like Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari, as reported by MacRumors.

For those familiar with the Podcasts app on Mac or iOS, the web version maintains a similar layout and functionality. Users can explore various tabs such as "Browse" for featured podcasts, "Home" for episodes from followed shows or recommendations by Apple, and "Top Charts" for trending content.

When I accessed the site and logged into my Apple account, I instantly saw all the podcasts I follow from my iPhone’s Podcasts app. However, I did notice that the web app lacks the ability to change playback speeds—a downside for those who prefer faster listening. Nonetheless, having a web version is still a convenient addition.

This launch comes on the heels of Apple's release of a web app for Apple Maps last month, expanding their ecosystem of web apps, which already includes Apple Music and Apple TV.
