Microsoft is set to launch three new Xbox Series S/X consoles this October. Gamers can now preorder the white, disc-free Xbox Series X for $449.99, a special-edition 2TB “Galaxy Black” Xbox Series X for $599.99, and a 1TB Xbox Series S for $349.99. The consoles will be released in the US on October 15th, with other regions following on October 29th.
The new white Xbox Series X is designed to match the “robot white” of the smaller Xbox Series S, which is priced at $299. Despite speculation, Microsoft hasn’t revealed any hardware upgrades, apart from removing the disc drive.
Preorders are open globally in all markets where Xbox hardware is currently supported, including various countries in Europe. The launch aligns with an exciting period for Xbox Game Pass, as it coincides with the release of titles like *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6*, *Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024*, *S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl*, and *Indiana Jones and the Great Circle*.
Microsoft’s latest console options aim to cater to diverse gaming preferences as the company gears up for the upcoming holiday season.
