The N Vision 74 coupe, which Hyundai introduced two years ago as a symbol of their commitment to high-performance electrification, may soon become a reality. This concept car is now part of Hyundai's ambitious plan to launch 21 electric vehicles by 2030. This news emerged from Hyundai’s 2024 CEO Investor Day, where the company outlined its future EV lineup, including the Vision 74 and the Genesis Magma concept.
Hyundai’s upcoming electric vehicle offerings will include a mix of affordable models, like the Inster / Casper subcompact and the three-row Ioniq 9, which is set to debut in the U.S., alongside luxury vehicles from Genesis and high-performance models like the Vision 74.
Although Hyundai executives did not explicitly confirm the production of the N Vision 74 during the presentation, the car’s inclusion in the slides suggests it's on the way. Inspired by Hyundai’s 1974 Pony Coupe concept and the Hyundai N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo, the Vision 74 initially featured a hybrid hydrogen fuel cell system. However, the final production model may differ from the original concept, especially since Hyundai is also exploring various powertrain options, including ICE, hybrids, plug-in hybrids, EVs, and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.
As Hyundai moves closer to its goal of 21 new EVs by 2030, the Vision 74 represents a key part of the company’s strategy to combine performance with electrification.
