Google is rolling out new features for Chrome aimed at improving tab management across devices. As of today, tab groups are coming to Chrome for iOS, allowing iPhone and iPad users to organize their tabs into custom-labeled groups. Users can access this feature by opening the tab grid, long-pressing a tab, and selecting "Add Tab to New Group." These groups can be named and color-coded for better organization.

Additionally, Chrome will soon enable synchronization of these tab groups across both desktop and mobile devices. This feature ensures that users can seamlessly switch between devices without losing track of their open tabs. For instance, users planning a trip on their phone can group and sync their tabs to their desktop for further work.

Google is also experimenting with a feature that suggests websites from other devices when a new tab is opened, which could reduce the need for manual bookmarking. This feature will begin testing in a few weeks, though a specific release date for general availability has not been provided.

These updates aim to streamline how users manage and access their browser tabs across different devices.
