If you’re an X (formerly Twitter) user, your posts are being used to train Grok AI, Elon Musk's chatbot. By default, X allows your posts, interactions, inputs, and results with Grok to be used for training and fine-tuning without explicit consent. Regulatory scrutiny in the EU and UK highlights potential data protection law violations.
How to Opt Out:
1. Go to Settings and Privacy > Privacy and Safety > Grok
2. Uncheck the Data Sharing box
3. Delete conversation history
For now, this can only be done on the web version, but mobile support is coming soon.
