Soon, you’ll be able to access your Android phone directly from File Explorer! Say goodbye to USB cables and hello to seamless file management.

Imagine browsing, modifying, and transferring files between your Android device and PC wirelessly. With the latest Windows 11 update, this dream is becoming a reality.

Microsoft is rolling out this feature to Windows Insiders, integrating your Android device into File Explorer. Your phone will appear like a USB device via Bluetooth, allowing you to:

📂 View files

🔄 Copy, move, rename, and delete files

This enhancement builds on the "My Phone" feature from Microsoft's Phone Link App, released in June. The upcoming update will also let you share files from your PC to your Android phone directly through a new “My Phone” shortcut in the share menu.

To try it out now, join the Windows Insider Program, ensure your Android device runs version 11 or above, and use the beta version of the Link to Windows app. Navigate to Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Mobile Devices to manage your connection.

Stay tuned, as this feature will roll out widely soon! 🎉
