Record and Transcribe Calls: Tap the new “record” button in the top-left corner of your call screen to keep an audio log. All participants will hear a message saying, “This call will be recorded.”
Access in Notes App: Transcriptions, full audio recordings, and AI-generated summaries of your calls are all available in the Notes app. Perfect for journalists, important calls with your doctor, and more!
Other Features: iOS 18.1 also includes natural language search in photos, email summaries in Mail, and an updated Siri design. The much-anticipated AI-powered Siri upgrade is expected in 2025.
