Tensions between Iran and the United States have escalated once again as Tehran strongly condemned recent US military strikes, describing them as a violation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that had helped maintain a fragile ceasefire.

According to Iranian officials, the US targeted missile, drone, and radar facilities inside Iran. Washington said the operation was a response to an earlier Iranian drone attack on a commercial vessel in the Strait of Hormuz. In retaliation, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced strikes against US-linked military sites in the Gulf.

The renewed exchange has raised fears that the ceasefire agreement could collapse, increasing the risk of a wider regional conflict involving Iran, the United States, Israel, and their allies.

Analysts warn that continued military actions could threaten international shipping routes through the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world's most important oil transit corridors. The international community is closely monitoring the situation and urging all parties to exercise restraint to prevent further escalation.

As diplomatic efforts continue, the coming days will be crucial in determining whether negotiations can restore stability or whether the conflict will intensify further.
